Foundations is an 8-week introduction to the Spanish Decoded approach. You'll begin building a clear mental map of Spanish — understanding the sounds, structures and patterns that make the language work.

The aim isn't to cover everything. It's to give you enough orientation to stop feeling like Spanish is random, and start seeing how the pieces connect.

Who's behind the course?

I’m Alixe, a Spanish teacher and designer based in Hebden Bridge. I developed Spanish Decoded after noticing that many people felt blocked or discouraged by traditional language teaching.

My approach focuses on clarity, sound, and confidence, so learners understand what they’re doing, rather than memorising what they’re told.

• 8-week foundation course (1-hour weekly sessions)

• In person — Birchcliffe Centre, Hebden Bridge / Calderdale
